Orbelus Getika’s elegantly balanced taste is the result of the classical blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, enriched by the powerful aroma and characteristic color of the unique Bulgarian grape variety Early Melnik.
Syrah and a touch of Petit Verdot to complete the blend’s harmony.
The name Orbelus Getika is a reference to two of the most famous for their Winemaking skills Thracian tribes who inhabited Bulgarian territory during the Antiquity Getae, who’s lands where referred to as Getika, and Sintians – inhabiting the region where all grapes of the Orbelus brand are grown – the surroundings of the Orbel mountain (today’s Pirin, south-west Bulgaria).
Aged for 8 months in French oak barrels. Non filtered.
