Taste: The palate is full bodied and juicy smooth and the finish is long lasting with hints of tobacco and cocoa dusting. Serve at 15-18C alongside game, venison and lamb dishes as well as hard cheeses.

Produced from the best crop of Early Melnik Vine growing in the vineyards of Struma Valley, South West Bulgaria. This indigenous to the area grape variety was created by the crossing of the ancient Broad Leaved Melnik Vine and the French grape variety Valdigue in the 70s. After fermentation the wine spends 12 months in new French oak barrels and further 6 months in bottle before release.
Ready now but can keep for 3-5 years. Serve at 15-18C alongside game, venison and lamb dishes as well as hard cheeses.
