Tasting notes:
Shiroka Melnishka Loza is a wine from a native Bulgarian grape variety which is the cause of its distinctive taste. While the main tasting note of the wine is strawberry, one could also notice a very tender mint hues. The color is dark ruby but not too thick. In the aftertaste one could feel the gentle spices that make this wine exceptionally pleasant to drink.
Food pairing:
Due to the specificity of the grape varietal, the Shiroka Melnishka Loza wine is quite pleasant even without food. However, if you’d like to find a good fit, great choices are white cheeses such as the feta and goat cheese. The wine also goes magnificently with red meats cooked with a variety of mushrooms.
Serve at: 16-18°C.
